Founded in 2003 by Leon Tsoukernik, King’s has revolutionized the poker world, establishing Rozvadov as Europe’s Las Vegas. King’s started hosting significant poker tournaments from 2006, leading to a surge in popularity. In 2014, the spacious Poker Arena was unveiled, solidifying its status as Europe’s leading poker venue.
One of the key landmarks was in 2017 when King’s introduced a 5-star hotel with a wellness center, art gallery, and gym. The same year marked the debut of the World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) at King’s, with Marti Roca De Torres clinching the €10,350 WSOPE Main Event.
The WSOPE’s popularity has surged since, with the 2022 Main Event witnessing 763 participants and Sweden’s Omar Eljach bagging over €1.3 million. The 15th WSOPE series is slated for October 25 – November 16, 2023, with the Main Event commencing on November 11.
